"Our Councils declared a Climate Emergency on June 26 2019- the fourth anniversary is this month. It has made a difference!"

"Work carried out on Council buildings and at the Leisure Centre has resulted in major reductions in emissions from these buildings. We now look forward to implementation by the Councils and developers of the recently adopted Tiverton Neighbourhood Plan. Its aims include much higher environmental standards for all new developments and changes to encourage walking, cycling, bus travel and electric vehicles to reduce emissions."

"To celebrate this anniversary we hope to organise an informal picnic close to 26 June - look out for more details soon on our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SustainableTiverton or contact Jess Carter on 07722301375."

"We will also be marking also Big Green Week (10-18 June) by sharing on facebook some of the environmental achievements since the Climate Emergency Declarations."
