Tiverton's Ecohub was officially opened on 21 March 2026. Neal Davey, Mayor of Tiverton, officially opened the venue and Councillor Natasha Bradshaw from Mid Devon District Council gave a short speech to congratulate and thank the group.

Sustainable Tiverton's news team said:

"It was great to see so many of you at our formal Ecohub opening. After speeches from Peter Stott, chair, Neal Davey, Mayor of Tiverton and Natasha Bradshaw, MDDC climate lead, the new Ecohub was formally opened when Neal cut Linda's special cake!"

The new hub is home to the Shareshop - a library of things for hire, to save everyone from needing to buy the same power tools, etc - and it hosts a regular Sewing and Knitting club, both attracting new interest. The Ecohub's first tutored workshop - a 'SASSY' sustainable fashion workshop for teens - is sold out already.
