Local ECOE community fund still open to bids
Exeter Community Energy (ECOE) expects their community fund to make over £170,000 available over the 20 year lifespan of its solar panels. The ECOE team draws on the income from ten solar power sites to fund groups working on clean energy and fuel poverty, in and near Exeter.
During 2021 ECOE made a total of £6,990 available and awarded grants to 3 groups: Transition Exeter, Hospiscare and SEADREAM. As ECOE did not use up all available funding, the community fund remains open to applications on a rolling basis. Find out more here.
