Net zero show home opens

On exhibition from 3rd August to 13th August 2021, a fantastic low-energy home is now on display in Cullompton that could put Mid Devon at the forefront of green housing. This neat and cosy net-zero performance home can produce as much renewable energy as it needs to use.
These Zed Pods are:
- thermally stable, with thick layered walls and triple glazing
- cooled and heated by air-source heat humps
- fuelled by solar power cells on the roof
- able to feed renewable power back to grid
- fitted with low energy LED lights
- solidly made with steel frames
- built off-site, for rapid installation
Catch the exhibition house at Meadow Lane, Cullompton, EX15 1QT (set within the Culm Valley Sports Centre car park). A Covid secure tour of the property will be available on a drop-in basis between 9.30am to 3pm on weekdays. Additional afternoon/evening drop-in time slots will be made available soon.
