Devon awarded £13.3 million for active travel provision

The £13.3m announced in December by Active Travel England is funding to plan, develop and construct facilities for walking and cycling, supported by Bikeability training. Devon and Torbay Combined County Authority (DTCCA) will take over the role of Transport Authority for the area from April 2026, so responsibility for the transport capital programme for 2026/27 will transfer from Devon County Council to the DTCAA.
